I have some work that I need to do but I am trying to avoid it

I need to start getting the gear together that I want to put in the boat come the spring.

After being in my buddy's RZR for the first time in awhile, a couple things really stand out:

1. It's really convenient to leave the boat on the lift but I'm just not sure I could do it for long, especially on a brackish river. It's always covered and sitting pretty high in the lift. He also had some panels installed on the sides of the lift to further help protect the boat. The elements are just not good to it.

2. I really dislike the throttle position compared to mine. Either the shifter is mounted lower or my new throttle lever is longer. The arm rest seems to be in the way to the point where you have to take your arm off the rest to use the pretty much the while time you are using the throttle.

3. His TAPS plate is pretty much as useless as mine was before I modified it to sit lower.

Chp can you get just the acrylic rings for Rev 10s? It seems absolutely insane to me that a pair of LED rings for Rev 10s would be $175-225. Plastic and LEDs can't cost that much......

4. The extra 200lbs in batteries in the battery lockers and extra ~700lbs in the bow of my boat have made a dramatic difference in wake size and quality. Dramatic.

No doubt, Id love to have them, but not for an arm and a leg. I also dont want to pull wires thru the tower just to light them

5. The extra weight in my boat is what is not allowing me to get a clean wake on both sides below 20mph. His was pretty clean down to about 17.5. Hopefully the new bow ballast I'll be installing this winter will aloe mr to remove a lot it the lead weight and it will help remedy this issue.

Not unless there was a strange warranty situation, but I doubt they would send out a pair anyway. Although they use the 600 LEDs per 16ft roll, and they are good quality ones, most of the cost is in the ring itself.
