I will not defend nor attack Bush, but it was the liberal policies that led to the collapse of the housing market, which led to the lending institution/wall street disaster which resulted in an economic downturn/depression that was the cause of our states unemployment rate hitting 11.4 Feb 2010. Its currently 9.1. If you factor in the underemployed, its almost 15%. Thats those that are working 1 or more part time jobs, where as they were working 1 full time before. During the Bush years, it averaged 5.7%
