You only need one set of RCA cables running from the H/U to the 420. Out of the 420, you will run a set to tower amp, in-boat amp and sub amp. Now, the sub volume control is tied to the in-boat volume. Once the in-boat volume is turned up, the sub volume can be controlled. Its a complete 3rd zone.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Yeah - that's one thing that I wish were a little different on the 420. You can't have the sub if you don't have the cabin speakers turned up.Originally posted by bryce2320 View PostThe sub turns up and down with the in boats. I have an rca output coming out of the back of the HU just for the subs. Do i need to run a splitter at the amp so one set goes to the 420 and one goes back to the HU? A little confused on how I would get it where I can adjust the sub and have the inboats off at the same time?

Ok... Now to tune it. Ill unplug all the rcas except for one amp. Turn it to 25 on the HU which is 3/4. Than turn the 420 all the way up and slowly start turning the gain up on the amp until it distorts a little bit and that turn it back down a bit? Sorry for 21 ?sOriginally posted by chpthril View PostYou only need one set of RCA cables running from the H/U to the 420. Out of the 420, you will run a set to tower amp, in-boat amp and sub amp.
