Rumor has it Tommy's is done for. Just a rumor at the moment but rumor has it that a guy from Michigan is taking over the distribution of Malibu in the area. He is going to rent space from Tommy for 6 months while his own shop is built and then he will move into that and Tommy is selling his land to Walgreens.

I thought Tommy sold out to one of the employees due to health issues? I think Tommy turned the keys over Sep 1, didn't he? Also heard that CO Boat Center sued MB to get the MB line back from Tommy's.

No worries about that here in CO.

The entire deal with his SIL buying it fell apart. I think he is out of options at this point. My buddy has a meeting with the salesman over there today so I will have more info later. Like I said that is just the rumor I heard. Supposedly Malibu offered the line to all the dealers in the area. Also supposedly ROMOBOCO picked them up.

ROMOBOCO was trying to pick up Epic too...and failing.

CO Boat Center did sue and get the MB line back. I guess it was 10 days before their contract was up and MB pulled the line. Owner of CO Boat Center sued, won, got the line back for 3 years which was the length of the original contract.
