Edmunds reported yesterday that the cash for clunkers program which was supposed to cost tax payers a max of $4,500 per veh, actually cost $24,000!!!

Wonder how that will translate if they pass a government run health care bill?????????

Which was about the cost of the vehicles. So we could just given them away.

Yup I agree. Just have GM (Government Motors) build them and give them away!
Would probably have been cheaper way to go.
