A question for my Tige Owner Buddies

When you hear or use the word powersports when talking about motorized toys, what toys does the term powersports include in your mind?

Let me know, post a reply
    It's not an optical illusion.
    It just looks like one.....

There is a dealer here locally that advertises powersports as ATV's, Jetski's, Scooter's ect.....

I don't use the term myself though

        motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles

purely from association with advertisements for an area dealer

So, this begs a second question.

Is a boat a powersports toy?

Yes, but because of the word association I have developed from the ads by dealers in this area, it does not come immediately to my mind when I hear the term.

I think I'll start calling my truck a powerlaborer

I grew up around 3 different companys with the term "powersport" used in their name, they sold everything but boats. So for me I dont associate boats in the same catagory as a powersport

it really depends on what the boat is being used for IMO.. wakeboarding, surfing, skiing, barefooting- then yes.. cruzing and tubing- no

i think it comes from the fact that you are using a motorized machine to participate in a sport, ya know?

Powersports would include things that have engines and are used for recreational and sports activities.

Thats how I feel, but to be honest the first few thing that popped into my mind was dirt bikes, ATVs, and off road trucks.
