Use Hercules 215 75 14. Had these on for about 6 or 7 years. No issues. Towed from California to Arizona many times in hot weather.
Remember one thing, keep speed down. I just came back from a trip to yellowstone and grand tetons. Must have seen at least 10 trailers of various types pulled over changing tires. The speed limits in some states have changed to 80 mph and people just tow at speeds well over 60 mph. That is where the issue comes in since trailer tires are not designed for these type of speeds.

My understanding is the higher load rating allows for higher psi and ability to handle increased speed.

I ended up getting the kumho tires. So far, they are working great.

They've worked well for me. We will see how they hold up, burning up the hot asphalt, to Lake Powell next week.
