So I had everything undone after a great day on the water and I missed seeing that the breakaway cable on my California Trailer Works trailer was still hooked onto my truck. As I pulled away I heard the ping and realized I had snapped the cable.
Does anyone know how to (1) reset the actuator and (2) reinstall the cable.
For (1) I pushed up on the little tab behind the tongue and heard what might be the sound of it reseting.
I plan to call CTW tomorrow, but thought I would throw it out there.
Next step: try to find the owners manual.
