With lake levels dropping and tons of weeds stirred up around the launch ramp, I thought it wise to install a water strainer in my R20. Do you want to see the finished installation?
This is a Shurflo water strainer with 1 1/4" inlet/outlet (complete) from West Marine (CAN$87).
It's tight under the rear seat but it just fits, doesn't touch the v-drive, and is easy to service.
