Nice lake! tell Rat Toby says hi next time you are at the Lakestop. I think you will be fine with the 5.7 with the right prop. My new Zee is 4250# dry +- and I was running about 2000# ballast today with ten peeps at 5400' elevation. She did fine with the stock 1631 prop but I am going to put my 1235 on it tomorrow.

Was that with a 5.7? What lake are you at? Is there still ice on it at 5400ft?

Lol its Alcova. It was 62 last week and 72 in the coves this week. It is amazing what 5 days of 90 degrees and no wind will do.

Heading up to bighorn canyon (Yellowtail if you can say that anymore. ..) tomorrow. My sister says it water temp was 78 degrees yesterday.
