My wife and I are seriously looking at getting back into boating. Having said that the boat inventory around us is mostly newer. We would like to stay under 30000 and have found a 2002 23v at a local dealer. It is the ltd with 550 hours. Normal wear and tear. NADA says it should be around 28 but I know that boats seem to go for more around here. We are in Boise Idaho. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank You

Do you have a link to an add or anything? What motor? What tower? What trailer? What ballast? Any service documentation?
The Limited is the higher end model. They usually have a little nicer interior and a more understated graphics package.
If you do get into a Tige, this place is a great resource for help. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

tell justin they are overpriced and you want a discount
iws are great people to work with and their mechanic came from gilbert lake, the old tige dealer. herb's the bomb as a mechanic..
not sure on the price, but tyrell has a 24v at prestige for sale. he's a great guy to work with as he just took my orange supra on trade for a new tige. might give him a ring and see what he can find you..
good luck..2012 22ve.. RIP 4/17

. We went and talked to the tige dealer and not impressed. Don't want to be negative and its a whole different thread. They don't have anything used that interests me anyway.

Posted a link. Mercruiser 5.7, not sure on the tower? I know they had problems with some towers but i don't know if this one of them? That's why I am posting on here. You guys know more than I ever will. I do know it was owned by the same family from day one. The salesman I am dealing with sold them the boat originally and then took it back on trade 10 years later.Originally posted by NICKYPOO View PostDo you have a link to an add or anything? What motor? Ahh, that one. Nice looking boat. That is a factory tower. It was built by Metcraft but, its not to horor story tower. Certainly not the best tower in the world. Eventually, you want a new one. Use that to bargain with.
The seat bases in the rear look re-upholstered but kinda hard to tell. No big deal
I personally really like those particular Tiges except the dual buckets. Use that as well. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

sandm.... What happened, did you get tired of that other shop trying to sell that 20 footer? Which Tige did you buy from Tyrell? In case you haven't figured it out this is your cousin Eric. When are we surfing?Originally posted by sandm View Posttell justin they are overpriced and you want a discount

Good to hear thats not the horror story tower. I don't believe the seats have been redone but I am not an expert by any means. See the dual buckets would be a problem except my better half happens to love the idea of having her own seat. What do you think about the hours? Thank you for the input.Originally posted by NICKYPOO View PostAhh, that one. Nice looking boat. That is a factory tower. It was built by Metcraft but, its not to horor story tower. 29 seems somewhat high until you look at '05-07 boats with 300hrs are pulling mid-high 30's in the valley.
offer 28.5 and see if they bite. the dual seats will be a tough sell for some families.
I've got several launchpad 440lb sacks and a pump you can use until you get ballast installed and I know mikel has some lead bars from the 22v.. also have a 1100lb locker sac I was going to sell. I'll hang onto it in the event you want to try it out..2012 22ve.. RIP 4/17

We are considering it. Still have to take care of some financial issues and then hopefully we can get serious about a family boat. I will probably take you up on those sacks. That 1100 should be a good fit in the rear locker. What ballast package did you get on the VE?Originally posted by sandm View Post29 seems somewhat high until you look at '05-07 boats with 300hrs are pulling mid-high 30's in the valley.
