I have an 04 22V.
Been having full power issues when wakeboarding with full ballasts - would struggle to get on plane- would hit 11mph or so and slowly get to speed (maybe 20-30 seconds). Compression test checked out. Fuel line to fuel pump replaced. Spark plugs replaced. Distributor cap replaced.
My kids were out on it this am and it finally conked out. It made some “galloping” noises when in gear, and some loud “hissing” noises.
I have a video of it, just can’t figure out how to post it here.
Let me know your thoughts! One guy thought it might be the idle controller?
