I'm quite bummed I can't make it up there this weekend, it sounds like its going to be awesome! (I've gotta help the GFs old man put his sail boat in Tahoe...I'll be lucky if it hits 60 )
Looking at the news this evening and i can say that the day is going to be beautiful. Now if the wind stays away... Dang it, I hope I didn't curse the event.

We are heading out on Sunday. See you all there.
Oh that blows I was hoping to meet you in person, but I have to fly out Sunday morning. Southwest didn't geve me a lot of flexability on Sunday with my free flight voucher. It was 6:30 am or nothing.
@larry, Yes, that is why we are doing the event in may, we wanted a full lake, and we need the 20 foot depth. We are hoping for a good turnout, and with that, we can get the quarter mile cove next year, which would be INCREDIBLE.
@dabell looking forward to seeing you.
@Chris
Thats too bad about sunday, how much extra would they charge if you went out later?
It would be the price of full one way fare $233.00. I hope to have a good time all day Friday and Saturday, figure out which boards I am going to buy for the season, help you out as much as possible and I can watch the contest from home.
Besides I can watch the pro's up here in Washington in July.
Funny you should ask, this was just a first quick test.
We had fun weighting down that RZ2 a bit more, tested a new camera lens and mounting position, talk about some of the giveaways, and then make fools of ourselves also.
If anyone wins a Big Boy bord and can't use it, I will take it off you hands.
Or Ragboy if you just want to give me one I wont tell.
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
