    Bent fin!

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I bent one of the fins under my 2000 21i RE while taking my boat out last summer...(water was shallow and tough to get off lift) Do i need a new one or can this one be fixed? Thanks...

You can find them online. You can also straighten. The ones I saw that looked closest to the ones on my hull were called "duckys" or something.

How do I straighten it? Heat it up?

I think it's more low tech than that. I think you just take a rubber mallet to it.

I'll give it a shot in the next couple of weeks.

You coulld take it to a marine prop shop and have them do it. I just had three done and it was $80 per fin.

I did the same. They are pretty tough. I think it will take more that a rubber mallet.

There is a Tige dealer close to my cabin... I'll look into it... Thanks for the replies!
