I just bought in late November a 20V and can't wait to get my hands on it.

Yup, TAPS is a wakeshaping device. The fact that your TAPS gauge says wakeboard and ski on it is a marketing ploy. I always adjust my TAPS to the weight I have in the boat, the speed I'm going and what we're doing (wakeboarding, wakeskating, wakesurfing, skiing or tubing).

With the Convex V hull I have found that if you want the wake bigger for wakeboarding/wakeskating, you start adding weight to the front of the boat first. It pushes that big rocker down into the water. Then adjust the TAPs to clear up any wash in front of the rider and your in great shape. It's awesome. Even in my old boat, the wake is better than many of the newer boats out today, 'cept for the Ve an RZ line.

What is amazing is that when I go 32 and trim out that TAPS, my ski wake is surprisingly small for how heavy and wide my boat is. Not as nice as the 20i, but pretty respectable for a boat that's almost 22' long and 102" wide.

It's not the cost. The Tige' tower is nice but does not fold below the level of the windshield which makes clearance under the garage door an issue. After market towers (like the Monster or Titan) fold flat or nearly flat, and well below the level of the windshield. I'm looking at adding one later.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm not having any trouble because I ordered it without a tower. No clearance problems now.

Thank-you, we're real happy with it. Day 1 of the boat show just ended and so far it's a big hit
