we were going to do that route, but we started melting the lead, and it is evey better. My "Bomz" are only four inch Diameter and 9 inches long and weigh 50-55 pounds. Have 6 done right now, so I love it. I just haven't had time with school to get out much, plus had to have some warrenty work done on the boat, so I don't even have it now;( Anyway, thi weekend it's on, and the wake is gonna be tested Still gonna get that rival ballast, since it will add 1100 and then add people and my lead and I can easily get at 2000. If I need more weight since I have less people, I can put my extra sacs on the side of the engine and I'm golden

      21ir

Thanks to everyone for all the responses to my question. I took out our new 2004 21ir and it is great. We did go for the Rival Ballast system. It fills up in 4 minutes and empties in 4 minutes as well. The wakes are HUGH! What a boat.
