How old is your Hull

Hi all, Thanks for your time to look at my post.
I have recently purchased my first Tige (2002? 20i) Whilst i am extremly happy with my purchase i wonder how to confirm the build year of this hull? Can anyone help. The guy i bought it from told me that the last two numbers on the Hull serial number, identify its build year??? Yes it ends on "02" is this accurate?

Yes, that would make it an 02 model. Could have been built anywhere from the fall of 01 to summer of 02 depending on Tiges model year cut off.
