    20i Trailer Position Question

I bought my 2000 20i from a guy who rarely trailered it. It came on an Eagle single axle trailer and I notice that the way the boat sits on the trailer, the nose of the bow is just up and over the front roller by maybe 6" or so and I am wondering if this is where it should be. I often have trouble getting the nose of the boat up onto that roller and I am just wondering if maybe there is something in the way the trailer or roller height that is set up that is funky. I will take some pics and post them, but generally speaking how much boat should be in front of that front roller when it is sitting on the trailer?

    Thanks!

The bow eye should be touching the boat side of the roller, if that helps.

And the transom should be fully on the bunks, with no hull hanging off.
