I thought it might be Powell. The water color threw me off a bit though. We need to organize a Tige meet and greet there.

would love to but not familiar with powell. houseboating is on our bucket list but it's not in the cards this or next year. week vacations are all spoken for.
is there a spot on powell you can launch and stay close to like temple bar or cottonwood cove? could do a long weekend depending on how far it is from vegas.

Lake Powell resort is right on the water. You can rent a slip. Super easy. A five/ten minute boat ride puts you at Crikets photo spot. I’ve actually never done a houseboat. In fact we always stay at one of the hotels in Page for under $100 a night and put the boat in each day.
We get a little more “daring” each trip. Travel a little further and explore new places. But you don’t need to travel too far to get a really good feel for what Powell is. 20 minutes from the marina and you are in large open bays. 45 minutes and you’re in tight, tall canyons cliff jumping. Of course the further up lake you go the more you have the water to yourself. We’ve gone as far north as to rainbow bridge. It’s a long trip in our boats but worth it, once.
