Before and After Teak Swim Platform

There is nothing like a fresh teak swim deck. I used my belt sander with 80 grit, then 150 on the finishing sander. I took a lot of wood off to get deep enough through the bleached wood. I then used west marines cleaner/brightener in one bottle and followed up with a few coats of Watco. I would have LOVED to burn the Tige logo in like I've seen on the site but didn't want to go through the hassle of getting one made. That is my only regret. Other than that I think this turned out gorgeous.

2000 20ci Missouri Ozarks. The smooth refinished teak swim platform is the best conversation, gathering area on our boat. Seats 4 or 5 easily. M&M
