"I'd rather be at the lake!" Facebook Group

Hello Everyone,

I have started a new group on Facebook called "I'd rather be at the lake". (Notice the main pic is a Tige ) It is basiclly for everyone who loves the lake (Tige owner or not) to upload pics or videos and share good times! Here is the link.

I heard San Antonio was in pretty bad shape...........our lakes are low, too. We are paying $12 to launch at a marina since our normal ramp is so low. We may have to chance it before long, though.......I like free better

My lake is full. In fact, apparerently there was a flood a few weeks ago and part of my dock is now in my yard.

Cool idea on the FB group, I just joined. I feel the pain on the low lakes, Lake Travis is a few feet away from closing many of the boat ramps. Looks like it is going to be a Lake Austin summer for me again this year. Unless my rain dances start working...

Fort Worth isn't any better. I live on Eagle Mountain and my dock is about six feet out of the water. It's about knee deep under my slip. The bass boat can make it but the Tige is still on the trailer.

Holbrook, Hawkins, and Hideaway are ones we see regularly. small, minimal use, and great lanes. Then there's Lake tyler.
I assume you hit up Lavon or Hubbard? The worst lake I've ever boarded on was Ray Hubbard. Terrible lanes and crowded lanes at that.

I love Hubbard so far, but this will be our first complete summer here, so I'm sure I'll see the "crowded lanes" before long. Maybe the Harbor will attract everyone to that area of the lake We've been out 4 times and had the lanes to ourself, and I love being able to eat on the lake. Compared to the lakes we frequented in West Texas (small and overcrowded, but still had a blast), Hubbard is great because the bridges are such great wind blocks, but I'm sure there is always something better

Hideaway is a private lake, isn't it?? I've heard of the others but am not very familiar with them.

Went to Caddo Lake at the end of last season which was entertaining, just take a map. They still pump from some of those lakes, such as Lake Fork.
