I had a problem. My boat runs fine. All the oil levels are good. But ever now and then when I back off the throttle the warning buzzer comes on. When I put it in neutral and turn it off then restart it. Its fine. All the gauges read fine and I dont know what to check. Any suggestions

What engine do you have? If Marine Power, could be improper oil level due to dip stick tube length (recalled, but I think it only applied to the V-drives). Higher oil levels cause foaming and that will cause a false reading and set off buzzer.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I thought it was recalled for all MP engines for 2006/7.Originally posted by chpthril View PostWhat engine do you have? It was my understanding that a batch of V-drives got engines intended for DD's. Due to the difference in driveline angle between a V and a DD, the dipstick reads low with the proper amount in the crankcase. Due to this, the engine gets over filled inorder to get the oil level to show "full" on the stick.Originally posted by da.bell View PostI thought it was recalled for all MP engines for 2006/7.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
