Don't have much to say, so I'll let everyone know that I charged my batteries yesterday and today. They are both sitting at 100%, waiting to be used.

Speaking of charging batteries. Do you guys disconnect everything from the batteries when you charge them? I remember the manual saying to do that. I have a toggle switch where i can make the power draw from battery 1, battery 2, both, or none. So, could I just switch that toggle to the "off" position and charge the batteries?

I would still disconnect them all. My boat was wired in such a way that the perko switch just selected which battery would start the engine, all the other electrical equipment would still work.Originally posted by wake454 View PostSpeaking of charging batteries. I forgot about my switch, and left it in the "all" position when I charged the first battery, then switched it to off for the 2nd battery. I also thought about disconnecting everything (amps, bilge, starter, etc...) but didn't do that. I hope everything is ok.Originally posted by wake454 View PostSpeaking of charging batteries. I do have a really cool charger, it will charge your battery to 100%, where most only go to 80%, and it will also jump start your car if you need a jump.

Timmy - How have you been?
I thought about it more then once. (That's probably why I decided to charge the batteries.) Too bad it was only 45 today, and we are back to winter for another few months.Originally posted by Timmy!
