Awesome pics and great discussion. My wife and I try to take it easy at Christmas, focusing on the reason for the season. Like our kids only get 3 gifts from us, after all if it was good enough for Jesus, it's plenty for our kids.
But at this time of year, my 2 kids are just more stressed and more easily agitated, grumpy, and get on eachother more than normal. I believe they are excited about getting out of school and Christmas. Doesn't mean that I lower our expectations, but we at least try to be more sensitive and pro-active in being positive. Exercise is key for my son, not so much for my daughter.

I was the same way at home, I knew what I could get away with and what I couldn't. My dad still believed in spankings, and well, lets just say I couldn't sit lots of days, ha ha ha. I learned and look back and don't regret it. Now adays though you get in trouble for that stuff, so the exercise is a great idea. I'll keep that in mind for when ever I have kids
