I like the walk thru. IMO, it has proven effective with 5 children climbing in and out of the boat via the transome. Less wear and tear on the skins.

My guess is that he is talking about the Ve with the small sun deck even with the little pad insert. The Z1 sun deck would be much better if it went all the way back and get rid of the transon storage area... that goes for the Ve and RZ too... make a FULL SIZE sun deck. Take a look at the Supra's sun deck.. now thats what i'm talkin about.

It's one of the top features that drew us to the Tige, and the Ve in particular over the V that the dealer also had. A boat is life a car, house, vacation, etc, there will always be compromises but look at the big picture. By the way, our filler cushion has never seen daylight since we bought the boat.

I think I have had it out on both boats probably 2 times total... Maybe three. But we haven't had the kids for those trips either.

I understand what you are saying. The Ve's have a larger main cabin and bow seating then the V, but at the expense of a little less rear storage and sunpad area. The question is for each person, how much room does one need on a sunpad................There's room for 2 on mine and that's all that counts in my book Z1 doesn't have transom storage, but does have a small seating ledge (the other thing that drew us to Tige) . I dont know if I would have bought a lesser known brand if it weren't for some of the key features that made me stop and really take a long look at the boat. It really set them apart from the "me to's" at the time

I agree that the walk troughs are great ideas not just for kids but everyone. Standing on the vinyl just stresses it especially the 200+lb users. IMO it is a great feature to have. With our 20V we put down a real thick towel for our labs to get on and off the boat either from dock or fro a swim in the lake.

I think You will see this feature on more and more inboards. Tige, Malibu, Supra, Moomba and maybe even Mastercraft have it on one or more of their models in 2008 and 2009.

I think You will see this feature on more and more inboards. Tige, Malibu, Supra, Moomba and maybe even Mastercraft have it on one or more of their models in 2008 and 2009.

CC has also offered it, but not the Moomba lines from SC and I dont think Bu does but not 100% sure,need to look.

Malibu definitely offers one and I think Supra does but I need to re-research it.

Amen! I like the big sun decks and the depth of the cushions is very nice. Compared with the rz and ve that are small and have shallow cushions. I like being able to have a large area to sit on chill, eat, relax, lay out, and put gear. The sun deck is the reason I wouldn't like anything else.
