How about a thin strip of Electrical tape first?

Actually I thought of the 3M tape that they use on body moldings on cars with the 3M adhesive accelerator between the rubber insert and the tower. I bet that will work.

Man I hope the WS boys were moving all the inventory to higher ground to keep it safe from damage flood waters. I hope they make it through this OK. DOMZ06 mom is here and she was told the that there boat house at there house in Houston is under water now and the water level is climbing toward there home. I hope it survives the storm. His mom sure has been through a lot over the last few months and is holding on real well with all that is going on.

WS is definitely on higher ground. It's in the shipping channel east of Houston that will be the issue.

Thanks for the kind thoughts guys.

I just got back from Surf Expo as I live outside of Austin so I went to the show and covered there while the rest of the WS crew stayed back to hold down the fort and board up their houses. We were in the direct path but on higher ground and a very solid place.

We made it through OK, still no power at some of the guys houses, fences damaged, trees fell on some roofs etc....

Biggest issue is Houston is without power for millions. No power to street lights, no gas, no food etc...some areas are fine with power and everything OK, some worse off.

We hope to have everything back to normal on our end soon.

Inserts probably just loosened up over time from heat/cold maybe. We can see if we have some new ones in that size. But taking them off and adding some rubber tape etc...works great as well. Just something to add some surface area to get the compression.

Try calling back towards the end of the week if you want some new inserts.
