Ok, after a summer of a dead battery from stereo use I need to add the second battery. I want to do the isolation so one battery is not drained while playing stereo and it used to crank boat. What do I need and can someone please send me a diagram? I saw the one posted here but seems to have 3 batties in the diagram not 2.

Buy this.

Comes with awesome instructions. Takes about 2 hours to do. Very, very easy. Switch is On/off type, so no switching batt1/batt2 nonsense. Switch it to "combine" if starting batt dies. Best hundo I spent.Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

This is my preferred method with the Yandina C100. See diagram on first page. Combines batteries when alternator is running, disconnects when not. I use it just like the diagram with an A/B switch, just in case my cranking battery is dead, I can switch to my house battery.

If you want to use an Auto Combiner Relay like the BlueSea or the Yandina, use their diagrams. If you want to go with a diode type Isolator/Perko switch setup like mine, I will draw you a 2 battery diagram and email it to you in full size, just let me know.Last edited by chpthril; 09-03-2008, 11:02 PM.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Same setup i put into the Mobius a month ago and by far the easiest i've seen. Way better than the pain in the rear Perko setup it came with! The boat came with dual batts so i ripped everything else out and rewired per Blue Sea's diagram and no issues at all.Originally posted by Jason B View PostBuy this.

It's starting to get a little chilly here, I need to head west!
Seriously though, it's simple. Let us know if ya hit any snags. Also, check Ebay, I've seen them on there really reasonable.Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I have not installed a BlueSea system yet, but like the looks of it and have heard only good things from it. Definitely go with the 7650 with the Perko style switch, gives you the most flexibility.Originally posted by Methu969 View PostI like the bluesea setup, thanks all.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
