My second is in the port locker with the amps also. My third is in the starboard storage with the sub enclosure. I ran 0ga around the bow and to it...ouch$$!! I had weight/balance issues with out moving the second battery. I'm still a little light on the SB side, but that helped little.

Did you check the REM just at the amp(s) or did you check it at the back of the H/U also?Originally posted by signguy22 View PostSo....I hooked up a battery charger and charged the second battery back up and tried the stereo....and now they still won't turn on. After testing with a test light I found that the REMOTE turn on was not working...anyone know what would cause this, or how to fix it?Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Yes, the H/U is where the 12v REM signal comes from.Originally posted by signguy22 View PostI only checked it at the amps. Why? Should I check it at the HU too?Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

The remote-turn-on wire off the back of the head unit is not long enough to reach the amp(s), so there is a length of wire spliced in, in order to reach the amp(s). That connection may be loose. If you check at the back of the head unit and you find 12v's, but no 12v's at the amp(s) as you say, then you have either a bad connection or a broken wire.........neither of which would be fixed by replacing a good head unit.Originally posted by signguy22 View PostThanks, I know that is where the signal comes from, but if it isn't at the amps then it probably isn't coming from the HU...
