my 2003 21 i has an issue with starting i have to jocky the throtle back and forth till i find the spot where it will turn over. the starter will not turn over until it is in just the right spot.Has anyone had this problem.

Try and by pass the neutral safety switch. That is what is sound like or I think this is also a switch in the handle?15 Escalade ESV-Black

On a Velvet Drive trans the Neutral Safety switch is located on the opposite side of the trans where the shift cable connects: cable - left, switch - right. They are on a common shaft. There are 2 wires connected to the switch. Jumper across them or remove one and connect together to test. The switch is only closed when in neutral. Or unhook the cable on the transmission, put the lever on the transmission in to the neutral position then adjust cable to fit the lever.Comment
