Yes, but this particular boat was modified by the owner who is a yanmar dealer. He said it would be about $14k to put a diesel in my boat, if I was interested. Like I said, we see each other on the water a bit, I have talked to both the current owner and original owner, that did the modification. I'd take the yanmar over the vw that mc decided to go with any day though, far more reliable. I know a commercial fisherman that has 9400 hours on his yanmar and has not done anything more than regular maintenance to it.

I started using seafoam in every tank. I get about 3 hours extra per tank vs not using it.

I have always heard people talk about how good it was. Did not realize what a difference it makes. Keeps your engine clean, allows you to put garbage gas in and still run like normal. Gas on our lake says premium but I know people drop hoses in the lake.
