That sucks! As long as everyone was OK material items can always be replaced.

+1 - I bet that was a very scary ordeal for you and your family and just glad that you didn't report any injuries to us yet!

We had a similar thing happen to us last year and if it weren't for having a Tsunami pump on board I'm pretty sure my boat would have been a goner as well because the bilge pump just couldn't keep up.

well you know you wanted a new one 22ve rz2 20v 21i just start shopping now and maybe it will happin sorry it happend

But again, I have a 24Ve for sale. And I live very, very close.

We were out on the lake and strong winds came in and the boat took on to much water over the bow. Their were 45 boats at the ramp at the same time trying to trailer, it was a frickin mess! It was about 75' from shore. The only part of the boat that was above water was the swimplatform and about the last foot and a half of fiberglass and the top foot of the tower.

I am waiting for the dealer to finish up the estimate for the insurance company, so they cam decide what to do.

I would have pics but the camera was on the boat to.

Sorry to hear about the ordeal. Glad that no one was hurt also.

Didn't think that lake was that bad. I guess it was a freak storm that came threw. I've wanted to take my boat out there with some friends that live in Sparks but when I found out about the water was brackish, I decided it wasn't the best situation. How often do you go out there?

Have you called around to the various Tige shops for boats? My local dealer has a few 2007 RZ2's still. I know, that would be away from the dealer that you are closest to but thought that I would mention it. Your current dealer could talk with Capital Water Sports and strike a deal also...

It's like we have one member every year sink their boat.. XPJim, Lunchbox, and now rushin. I am sure I skipped a few people in between years but again, it looks great when the owners return to Tige for their next boat.

"Man that is terrible, sorry about that." Did it sink because of the high wind and pushing water over the bow? That must of scared you to death thinking the worst could happen, and then it actually does.

Hope the insurance comes through for you like a champ.

I have a question, and pardon my ignorance. If I ever get caught out in something like that, is is possible to suck it up and just plow @ 10mph with taps on 7 and the bilge pump on, or is it pointless? If I can't get to the dock of course.
