I like the look of the tower, but you can tell from the guy standing on the sunpad that it's very short.

Yep, that's why I didn't get polarized when I picked up some new shades.Originally posted by ragboy View PostOne more note on that, I wear polarized prescription sunglasses. Have you every tried to look at detailed LCD screens with polarized glasses? You have to take them off most of the time. May not be a big deal for others, but polarized glasses are popular for boating. I like my LCD on my 24Ve, but I like the analog guages as well.

It's gonna be hard to find your tige buddies on the lake now, if your lake also has malibus on it. That pic of the 24Ve looks pretty much like a bu. The graphics are pretty much the same as the V-ride. I'm kinda shocked they went with such a direct rip off of bu. Is 2010 goona see tige's with the wedge?

I've already been working on this with Tim for the last two weeks. I might have something in the worksOriginally posted by larryueckert View Posttim wont be selling a lot of 485 because of the new tower
I'm motivated by the fact that I have a pair of 485's! I'll say this. The tower is one big cast piece! Where there's a will there's a way
When mine gets here I'll keep you guys updated!Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

I like the look of it, but anything powder coated does not hold up well in the saltwater where I live.
I bet there will be a way to bolt a pair of 485s to the speaker mount locations before long. A way to put more board racks on would be nice too. Hopefully tige and metcraft will be taking all this in and amending things quickly.

Y, and on my boat, the bimini is UNDER the speakers, so it shields the passengers from the loudness, its amazing how much the bimini lowers the sound. The new tower, the bimini is ABOVE the speakers, so they are really going to be loud.Originally posted by dinfusino View PostWonder how loud it will be for the passengers riding in the rear with that speaker set-up? I might be hard to balance passenger comfort and boat balance.http://wake9.com/
