i have been lurking for a while since almost buying a boat last year, but seeing these new designs make me want to get one now. it is just too bad i am in the process of buying a new house, but the bright side is it has a side yard i could store it at when the time finally comes to buy a boat. it will definitely be a tige though.X

Little blurb on '09 Tiges at WakeOrigin.
I am unclear whether the CES Catanium (cat converter) is an option or standard.

It's my understanding that the 09 PCM engines will have the Cat Converters, and the remaining Marine Power engines (an option for 09 til gone) will be non-cat as before. The Converters are required for all 09 CA sold boats, and 2010 for the rest of us.Originally posted by Duncan View PostLittle blurb on '09 Tiges at WakeOrigin.

The only place that I am aware of is that a CAT is required in CA for any boat sold. Other states are not requiring it for another year. IMO, I would get one without it since they are not cheap to purchase and also something else that could go wrong with a boat. Reason why I am not going to purchase another boat any time soon in CA.

Crap, that's the question I forgot to ask. I asked a lot of questions and couldn't remember the one that I was supposed to ask.
FWIW, I'm glad I have an '07! I don't like the new digital gauges at all due to their size. The displays are way too small IMO. I don't know what all the hype is about with the PCM engines either, it was a tiny bit quieter at idle but seemed to be just as loud at sports speeds and the power felt exactly the same. One thing that I noticed about the 09 was that you can hear the taps plate or some mechanism when you change the amount of taps, there is a little "whirring" noise when you push the taps button and I don't have that sound on my boat.
- The drivers seat now sits on a true base instead of just a riser - at first that was cool but then I couldn't get the seat to swivel for some reason and that annoyed me.
- The integrated trash can is cool but takes away from your storage
- the color matched dash pad reflects off of the chrome on the windshield and you always have a "glow"
- The cruise didn't work on the demo boat, they are still having some "software issues" with it. We did get it to work after a few tries but then it stopped again.
- The bimini is a little low for me. I'm 6'1" and hit my head on it no less than 3 times. My guess is that it's about 5'10 or 5'11.
- The new tower in person actually looks pretty decent, I was a hater but it's growing on me
- Love the new graphics in person
- Love the new interior insets
- Why are the cupholders on the RZ2 still on the floor?
