I assume that a PM has been sent to him? Does anybody know him personally? Ragboy, you have done such a good thing, that it would be a shame for it not to continue, especially if they "disappeared". Looks like the last time that he posted anything was 10/08/08. Is there a way to tell when the last time was that he was viewing the website?

He contacted me directly, and he apologized. Again, its not a big deal, the stuff is coming back to me. I am going to start it up again, and I am going to see if I can work out a better/cheaper way to ship, not sure if possible with the big board. I would love to send smaller board, but you need the bigger one to learn on.

I was just wondering if you ever got your stuff back? This was great-errr maybe not on second thought--it ended up costing me a FORTUNE!!
I liked it too much and had to invest in my own setup. Now we surf 2x more than we board.

I want do demo a few boards before I drop 600bux

All you gotta do is get to Lake Oroville. People call me all the time and I meet them on the lake and throw out boards and give them tows.

I have a few demo boards from Lakewakes, they are a blast. Great for Tandem, and big guys, and even normal size people. I have some video and pictures I will post, and I think I can send one of these around. Mark from Lakewakes is a good guy, and I think would go for it. The 2 new demos he sent me are a lot of fun. Post in a day or two.

I should be able to have something going in a week or so. This time with some sponsors.

I need some help guys. I want to get a couple of sponsors for this, since its expensive, and i have a few ideas to make it better. Can some of you that did this tell me what you ended up purchasing and spending after this experience? I want to be able to tell potential sponsors this is a WIN program.

BTW, any sponsorship will go towards providing more equipment to this, not to my pocket or wake9.com.

I bought 3 sacks, all used off ebay for a total of about 300$, a $450 board, and 2 pumps at $100 apiece. A surf rope for $30. Total FOR ME was around $980.
Additionaly, I am making my boys buy their own boards. They are shopping right now as we speak, so add another $800 pretty easily to that number.

When I finish school and have more "project time" I will be automating my ballast. I'm not even sure what that will cost--maybe another $300-400???

If I was a surfboard company, I would jump on that in ONE SECOND!! What better way to get your board in the consumer's hand. Once they ride it and like it, they'd be stupid to buy anything else and gamble on whether or not they'd like it...
