Smoking Brisket Today

Well today for Mothers day I will be smoking Brisket. My brother n law will be smoking some ribs. You know we will have baked beans....not sure what else.

Does anyone else do any smoking? Cooking that is.

Did the same last weekend for the family get together. Works great to pre cook and take to the lake house during the summer.

Hmmmm, Good idea, not that I have a lake house but we do rent a cabin at a lake a few times. I will have to try that.

Sounds great I'm planning on putting a pork roast on the rotisserie this afternoon, steam some fresh veggies, salad.

Well, back to cleaning house and then off to the grocery store.

Smoking meat is good stuff. Wish I had a smoker but again, I wouldn't have enough time to go boating today.

I Love to smoke Tri-Tip. Not sure if you can get Tri-Tip in your area, but it is good! Also, cut jalepeno peppers in half long ways, and stuff them with a cream cheese/bbq sauce mix/ or just blue cheese, wrap in bacon and smoke away. Enjoy!

i do love me some smoked Q. my pops has a huge smoker he pulls behind his truck he calls it the country kitchen. the thing will flat out throw down some Q. he uses it for family stuff an at the vetrans club. i dont know if i have any pics of it but i will try and find some. dam i want some ribs!!!!!!!!!!

Well fellas that was some dam good brisket. I don't want to blow my own horn but wow. 8.5 pounds of brisket only came home with about 1/2 pound. Just enough for lunch. I should have take some pics. Oh well next time. Since I some something about every other week.
