Well I owned a lower division X-ball team.... that we had put together at the last minute. The new season rolled around and I was gonna enter this new team I had pieced together. I checked the rules before the first stop on the series, and we were legal.

Well apparently the week of the event, they made a change in the # of upper division players you could have on your roster, and didn't notify anyone. We found this out the day of the event, at the captains meeting. After we had already flown people in from all over the country. They had also added a new rule that you had to have a minimum of 7, well we had exactly 7. When they added the first roster rule, that made 1 of our players illegal. So now we were down to 6 and couldn't get anyone down there to Austin, TX on a wed. So we made a visit to Copy cats in Dallas and my buddy took on the role of his real brother. Unfortunately after we won the event and $10K, someone ratted us out. But since I was the owner, I went to bat for my guys. I took on full responsibility... so I got a lifetime ban, so that the rest of the guys wouldn't only get probation or temp. suspensions.

LOL... yes that's exactly what it was. It was a Nor*Cal team that threw a bi*ch fit too...hehe. Not justifying it... but the rules had not changed in over 4 years. So when we looked the first time and saw it hadn't changed, we thought we were good to go. O well... we still had fun and that's all that matters
