The ballast system is almost complete now. I am waiting to receive the sacks' fitting from Andrew. Got all the wiring and hose complete. I just need a couple of hours tomorrow to finish covering the wires and put the boat back together.
I might take a trip to the lake tomorrow to test it out and make sure I have no leaks.

I would think that you would use them entirely..Originally posted by eks View PostI might start using the new dealer instead of Taylors' for my yearly maintenance and winterization
But again, are you sure (110%) that it was the dealer that didn't do the work???? Just asking....

It is not like they are next door to keep taking the boat back. $50 bucks in gas every time. How's your boat coming?

I also notice that some of the items I asked them to fix as warranty did not get done. I am just a little upset of the quality of work.
Typical for taylors ek

Do you think I have a short somewhere?Originally posted by chpthril View PostBatteries with low voltage will freeze, and then will never recover (take a charge).
When you get everything back together, run the engine, use a DVOM and check for Alt charge voltage on the new battery just to make sure all the wiring and Iso is ok.

Batteries with low voltage will freeze, and then will never recover (take a charge).Originally posted by eks View PostI figured out the electrical problem. One of the batteries was completely dead.
I guess one battery is 100% dedicated to the engine and that one was working just fine.
I took to AutoZone and the battery won't even take a charge.
What the crap! The boat is 9 months old, and 5 of those months the boat was in storage with the battery switch off.
