First day on the water one my new "used" 2007 20v and had a little issue and I a looking for some help. My buddy was driving and hit some wood or sand. The skegs are not straight and I assuming they should be. Can they be straightened or do you need to buy new ones?
Also, how do you raise the floor were the v drive and skegs bolts are?
Finally, the prop is bent, does anyone know the replacement cost on one of those.
Is there anything else I may be missing? The shaft appears to be straight
Any guesstimates on what this would cost to fix at the shop? My buddy is paying for it and wou like a guess. Would insurance cover this?

and I can tell you that YES, your insurance should cover the whole thing, less deduct. Have your dealer, or any reputable boat shop, inspect it and write an estimate. Call your AGENT tomorrow and ask them if it would be covered first, dont call the 1-800 # for the insurance company.
