I'd like to see a how-to on how to do those LED rings under the speaker. I have everything I need to do it sitting in my basement (I think). I bought blue LED lights for my moto-van and never put them in. My boats green so I really can't use them in it without it looking dumb.
I think I might order some green ones and give that a try. I like it.Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

They take 3/4 thick sheets of plexi and cut out the basic shape and then us a homemade jig and a router. Then sand/polish by hand. With trial and error, they have gone from about 6hrs a ring to 1.5hrs. The R/F's look good because the plexi fallows the curve of the grill.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I have one or two 18" strings...not real sure anymore. I think my plexi is only 1/4" it probably would be too thin. I want to do the green lights in my trailer wheel wells also, that looks super cool. I end up buying all kinds of stuff for projects and then never get around to doing the project--leaves all kinds of goofy stuff laying around my garage/house until I stash it somewhereOriginally posted by chpthril View Post...

I won't buy the stuff this time until I'm READY to install!

Plexi rings like that are real easy to make. If they took 6 hours, and now take 1.5, they are paying someone WAY too much. Pretty easy to do with a home made jig. You make it just like you would any other speaker spacer, only you have to sand and polish the edge you cut. A buffing wheel helps tremendously.http://www.wakeboatworld.com
