We are in West Texas too...bought our boat from the dealership in San Angelo and just found out they are no longer carrying tige....glad to see there is a dealership in Brownwood......we did talk to someone from the plant in Abilene and they said there is another boat dealership in San Angelo that will be carrying tige soon.

The dealer at Lake Brownwood is the ones who bought the dealership in San Angelo. I spoke to them a few weeks ago while at Lake Brownwood. I think Donnie is the owner and the Julie is the General Sales MGR.

Thanks for the info.......we were shocked when we logged onto the website for Family Powersports a few weeks ago and saw that TIGE was no longer listed. We bought our boat in Dec. It was an 07 carryover and they never even mentioned that they would not carry tige in 08....although it was interesting that they didn't have one 08 boat on the lot yet........I guess we should've clued into that because most other dealerships had already begun to get the 08's by then.

Here are some more pics if I can get them to post. Got it for 16,500. I have read several posts from around the summer time and saw these boats going for around 20k. Does winter really do this for the price? It has 352 hours and brand new interior put in this winter by the dealer.

Going from a Bayliner to the Tige will be an awesome move. You should no longer have the tipping over feeling when you are making a slow turn to go get a fallen rider with 2 or 3 people in the bow. Bayliners were ok starter boats to see if you enjoy boating but you will love boating in your Tige

Like I said a night and day difference. You'll love your Tige. Have fun.

I really like the tandem trailer for this size boat.

Although Tandem Trailers are harder to turn in tight spaces the security they give you is great. The best things about them if the are setup right the don't sway and if you have a blowout in 105 degree weather they still roll on the renaing three tires.

Nothing worse than a single axle blowout and having to jack the boat up off a rim and repairing the fender and light damage to continue on.

I've had that happen on my tandem axle. The tread separated from the tire and wrapped the fender back up inside. Not fun.

Inspect your tires, especially if they're a few years old!

Ouch, did not think about that!. Did the rim that had the blowout hit the pavement?

Luckily, no. But it took me a really long time with a pair of vice grips and a sledge to bend it back to where it was driveable.
