We have ski club tonight, I get to try my new snowboard. Wish me luck! My kids can't wait to laugh at me crashing. I guess the snowboard would be my newest toy. It might be somebody elses toy after tonight if things don't go well

Actually, it is a CRF250X. I also have a Yamaha WR250 (son rides) and a Suzuki DRZ400 (just sold it). I love the Honda.

I tried snowboarding for my first time. It took me a few hours to figure out how to link turns, but it is fun. I'm not giving up skiing but will add a few days of boarding in the season.

Moki- the weather looked like it was good for skiing,my wife hates skiing in the cold.I thought about trying to snowboard also but figured it is too hard to board on the double black with moguls-so we bought new skiis and will leave the boardin to my kids.Good to see everyone wearing lids.The wife and I bought some this year and started to wear them also-never know when a tree will sneak up and slap ya in the head.

Speaking of skiing/snowboarding...I'm heading to Banff on Thrusday. Looks like it has been cold up that way.

The wife and I went skiing on Sat Jan 26 and it was plus one and the mountain had 27 inches of new snow. Problem is the weather took a bad turn on Mon and the temp is sitting around minus 35-40 with the wind chill. Unfortunatly I think it is supposed to stay for a week or more-sorry! Which mountain(s) are you going to?Not sure if you have been to Banff before but its nice. Make sure you go soak in the banff springs hot pools.
