You could do it for less if you do not use the tsunami 1200 pumps. The 1 inch hose and the extra fittings to adapt 1 1/4 down to one inch add up. I also used stainless thru hulls instead of the chrome covered plastic which were more. I see low $600 entirely do able without the sacs.

Definately I would do some changes if i ever did it again.

I'm a shade under $1300 for sacs and plumbing:
bow sac, surf sac, v-drive sacs
manifold
3 fill pumps
4 drain pumps
100' hose
4 switches
and all the other odds and ends that go along.

If you don't want to do the install yourself, I would really shop around to find someone that has done them before, and really understands what you want done. A quality install is worth every penny.

I hope to have mine done shortly after the first of the year. Since we have 2 awesome ballast install write-ups already, I will probably post mine over on Spharis' site www.wakeboatworld.com

I've already come across some changes I would make but I'm too far into it to make.

Go with 1" hose, 1" fly-high quick-connects, 1" check valves, T's, etc and the Atwood Tsunami T800 pumps. The 1" hose will fit over the ends of the the 3/4 threaded T800 pumps

The cost between 100' of 3/4" hose and 1" hose is about $25.00. Everything else 1" over 3/4" is chump change.

My next install is likely going to go with no manifold and separate fill holes for each intake pump. I love drilling holes in the fiberglass! Each hole would just be a mushroom style. CHP, did you go with a manifold style and why?

Not only easier, but cleaner. Less connections means less points to leak.

Yep I went with the Rival style PVC manifold. Easy, cheap, and seems to work. I would like to see some pics of the thru-hull pump, dont see any reasons why it would not work fine. If somebody didn't mind spending the $$$, the reversible pumps is the way to go, but add about $300 to the bottom line

Sorry I have been traveling and did not catch this thread. eksilva contact me on this via PM and I will fill you in on what is going on with G's boat. I would love to do a system on a RZ2 and see what we can do with it. One thing you should know is that Domsz06, G-Money, and I do not do anything unless it can look clean and professional and work to the highest performance possible. We do have ways to get the parts at a fair price.

Thats what I meant to say. The 1 inch hose slips right over the ends of the 800 pumps. Thats why I usually do not post from work. The quick connects for 9 sets is still around $90. The little stuff adds up. Just reviewed my spreadsheet ands its amazing how it got to the $750 range. If i used the 800 pumps , overall I would have saved about $100. On a side note are you using the thru hull i donated?

I also can't wait to do the final tweaking to my system and get the new amp and wetsounds up. Already laid out and marked the hose to put the drain pumps into the battery compartments. Also found the leak I developed at the Coldwater reunion. Bad fatsac which is being repaired. Another Tige owner told me in Havasu that my on and off vapor lock issue could be caused by the manifold i built for future expansion. I am going to add the 4 pump to assist in the filling of the surf sacs

Why not the 1" and 1/8 hose and the 1200gph tsunami pumps?

You need to go 1 1/4 inch hose over the pump threads and then reduce to 1 1/8. Could not find those reducers. The check valves were 1 1/4 or 1 inch. 1 1/4 inch check valves were massive. Output end of the pump with the fitting is 1 1/8 but I found that those leaked with the boat vibration and again the check valve was the issue. You could go with the johnson mayfair pumps which I think are either 900 or 1000 and still have the 3/4 inch threads to use the 1 inch hose. Much cleaner without the adapters

Yep, got a 1.5 thread to 1.5 barbed elbow for it.

Like Jim explains, it will take 1/4" hose to slip over the pump. At the end of the day, you still have to bring it down to the 1" Fly Hi quick con's at the sacs. The extra fittings begin to add up. The cheapest I found 1-1/8 to 1" barbed reducers, was 10 bucs, and you need one for each pump. In my case, that would be $70. The T1200's use 1-1/8 NPSM threads, that and 1-1/8" hose is just not readily available. It seems to be an odd size.

Since everyone is using the same sacs with the same 3/4 NPSM threads, I don't see the T1200's being that much faster then the T800's.

You could save a few $$$ ( I spent $110 for 10 sets) by going with straight barb fittings instead of the 2 peice quick-cons.
