Ragboy,
Ask Scott if the Razor & the Switchblade are the same as far as weight & function of raising & lowering. If so, it's a piece of cake. I have to lower my Razor to get it in my shop each time. After it's in, I raise it back up. I do it most of the time by myself. REALLY EASY!! Like K said, or maybe it was Sparky, it only takes a minute or 2 at most.

That is in my warehouse, I am 90% sure, my tower is called the z series tower, and the other one, without the horizontal tube, is the e series tower.Originally posted by Lucky 275 View PostI'm confused... is that your boat in the garage? Isn't that the e tower?
y, they are pretty much the same, switchblade doesn't have that horizontal tube, and is 2 7/8" thick.Originally posted by b/w05 View PostRagboy,

Rag you have it switched around. You have the e series tower, and the one without the horizantal tube is the z tower which is even harder to take up and downEverything happens for a reason

That is very possible, I have switched them around before. It used to say on the site, I don't see anymore.Originally posted by CP3 View PostRag you have it switched around. That is correct. The horizontal section is called the "rail." The rail of a tower is the part that typically is curved to match the windshield of the boat...but some towers are not the same contour, in order to get a different look. Some people like it better, and some do not. Having a rail CAN add a lot of strength to the tower. That said, it doesn't necessarily mean that a tower with rails will be stronger than one without.Originally posted by CP3 View PostRag you have it switched around.
