Starting out of water??

How can the boat be ran while out of the water. My water pick up is on the bottom of the boat (duh) and I can't seem to come up with any logical way of getting water to it in a consistant manner.

Pick up a fake a lake at your dealer or on line @ overtons.com. They look like a plunger.

Or, for a more dependable way to flush your engine, you can have a Perko Flush-Pro installed. No crawling under the boat, having the fake-a-lake fall over from the bottom of the boat, etc.

salt water flush kit

The tige salt water flush kit you need to use after being in salt water is also a great way to run out of water just plug a hose on.

I would like to try to install this. Would you have any pic of yours installed?? I have a 01 21 v I know it may be a little differnt but pic would be great or any advice. It looks like a great product and this will be the first time ever winterizing a boat.

Have you had any trouble with the check valves? More moving parts and seals means more opportunity for failure. How long have you had yours? Do the seals dry up after a few years? I believe that simpler is better, but this system does look to be more thorough than a plunger.
