So When is everyone wrapping up this Boating Season?

I backed our Tige' into our storage unit Sunday and we got out the Callendar.
Other than maybe Labor Day Weekend, looking like this might be it for us this year.

We'll take it to Tige for it's 20 hour service when they send out the Off-Season Service discount cards.

We roll out the boat one time during the winter just to run it a bit in the nice Arizona Indian Summers.

When ya packing it all up for the year?

It's getting close to the end of the season up here unless you like to drive 2+ hours to a lake that has water in it. I would say that the boat is finished by the end of September and then it will be going into the shop for some warranty issues (fiberglass/gelcoat cracks (2 of them) and bottom of the seat cushion is broke).

Same here. The nights starting dipping pretty low here in Colorado so that water temp goes down pretty quickly. I think we've already lost 4~5 degrees in water temp in the last 2 weeks and it will go down much quicker with 50 degree nights and highs only in the 80's.

Have wetsuit, will travel. Actually, we'll be boarding well into November (Thanksgiving). We've been known to board over the New Year's holiday. My kids are committed to learning new tricks over the winter in time for the start of competitions here in TX (as early as the end of February).

Looks like dad may have to add a heater to the boat

Unless we get some rain/water in our lakes, our season ended 2 weeks ago because they are closing all the access ramps

Other then that, I wont drain engine till they call for a freeze, but we will still ride at least 1 weekend a month, lake level permitting.

It's hard to say this year when it'll end. We're seeing temps we should have had 1 1/2 months ago, supposed to be 105 today! It's keeping the water at the foothill lakes around 76+ degrees. In fact we're out on Sunday and then out for out last of season camping trip in two weeks.

I do have a heater on my boat.....we'll see if a drysuit is in the picture.... The thing around here is that we have have seen snow the 2nd week of September before! Yuck! I'm hoping to make it all the way into October before we have to put the boat away but we'll see.

The fun never stops down here in Houston. Might have 2 cold fronts a year that dock us for a couple of weeks at a time.
