That's not my son, it's one of his friends. We were giving him grief because he kept dropping the rope whenever we'd encounter another wake. You can't have butter all the time so they just need to learn how to deal with it. Fixed him up PDQ!
You're right about the rope handle. It's something we've been trying to get him to do because his landings would be a whole lot more stable. However, he had only wakeboarded for 2 weeks (8 total times) in this picture, so it's not as bad as it sounds. We had him jumping wake-to-wake in less than 2 weeks from never having wakeboarded before.
