Where is everyon with thier Teak Swim Decks?

Replaced the original "teak" which was not real teak with another one in less than a year. The new one "teak" appears to be doing better. Will see how it holds out by the end of this season.

So what your saying is that the same guy at Tige that's in charge of the Fuel Guages and Board Racks is also the Director of Swim Steps for Tige?

How much did it cost to get a new Teak Deck?

By cost I mean the numerous back forths to a Tige Dealer and the Step itself.

I would also. You purchased the boat new and the teak looks like it has been used. Go get a new one.

That really looks great. What did you use to make the finish look so good?

I used the Star Bright 3 step kit, a wire grill brush, and extra fine sandpaper. It was still a little wet in the pictures. It looks the same just not as much shine.

Take it in tige has a one wear warranty on the fake teak swimstep. The only problem it the company that made the fake teak swimsteps call it quits so tige has not found a new manufacture of teak swimsteps. The guys that have had their teak for 10-15 years have real teak not the crap they put on the newer boats.
