Don't feel bad, I got an 80 Gb video for my birthday about a month ago. It was the kids idea. So, I ordered the cable for my home hifi system and my Kenwood HU. It's so much nicer to be able to control the iPod through the HU. I can skip through playlists and songs within playlists. Best of all, my remote works with it now, too.

oh man, if you like that, you should try the apple tv. You get the eye candy as well, plus your photos and stuff.

I have mine in my glove box, and my clarion remotes allow me to see the name of the song from the ipod, you have to change the playlists from the deck though. It would be nice to change the playlist from the remotes.

Which clarion unit is that? It must be connected by more than just a simple AUX input...no?

I love my Ipod. I now have Detention on my video Ipod, so I can show a newbie how to get up step by step with the detention video. I hope that will increase my success with getting people up on the first try.

I don't even own an iPod My wife has a mini and my brother has a mini and got a shuffle from his work for free (Google) so he has donated that to the boat now.
