I hear that! I went to Havasu a couple of years ago and cracked my 1st beer at 7:30am because it felt like noon there! 100+ degrees and everyone else was doing it!

I've had mine for 6 years now and have done many upgrades. Not one of them has been to the motor or drive or hull or systems. Besides regular service, I just haven't had to do anything to it. Anything that has given me an issue has been completely my doing. I've cooked an impeller and that cooked the housing and the belt. My fault. I ran it out of gas once. My fault. Couldn't get it restarted because I had clogged the fuel filter up and didn't have a spare. Live and learn. Minor stereo issues. All mine. I did have a seal go out on a TAPS ram. Replaced by Bennett for free even though it was past warranty. The thing has basically never let me down.

That's the main reason. Another is comfort. Still the most comfortable D-drive ever. Every seat in the house is layed out to perfection. There are newer designs that may be a bit more functional, but none are as comfortable.

Build quality. Before I starting looking for my boat, I researched everything I could on modern (at the time) tow boats. I started with the MC's and really liked the 209. Looked at the Centurions as my uncle had had a few. Looked at the Bu's, Tweeks, Sangers, Supras, Moombas and MB's as well and I looked hard. For a year I poked, prodded, and felt up every boat I could get my hands on (or in ). Not one could match what Tige had on the table. So I set out to find my 22i and did. That was in '01 and the Double O has yet to let me down. Whats not to love?

My Vdrive bolts backed out leaving me dead on the water. Transmission went out leaving me dead on the water. throttle cable seized meaning you had to be Hercules to get the boat to move-

Now to the good part
Boats of Nevada.
V-Drive bolts went out right before 4th of July. Drove my boat to Boats of nevadas and said i needed the Boat back since I had a high school group. The repaired my boat right then and I was on the road home in 3 hours.

Transmission - Boats of nevada actually picked up my boat in Havasu and took it to there shop and repair. Now they were delivering another boat to Havasu but the timing was perfect for us.

Throttle cable was the end of the season and again they took my boat back to Nevada to repair from Havasu. Again perfect timing as we were having the Boats of Nevada Tige reunion in Parker at the time

Again the 1st time I was upset but the dealer has always gone above and beyond. In reality very little down time of the boat. In 06 the boat ran solid- no issues.

First to agree with Timmy! Wakeboard and Waterski Specialty is the best dealer on the planet. I also love that Tige stands behind there boats!

That's why I named my boat five o'clock its always happy hour in my boat, no matter where we are or what time it is. It always five o'clock!

I love my Tige because of many of the same reason the rest of you do! It is a quality boat fairly priced and incredibly sexy!

When i was buying I looked at the different brands did my reaserch and fell in love with Tige! I couldn't ask for anything more out of my boat (well maybe a bigger built in cooler).

I also love that when we hit the water its a completly different day than it was before we got there. And if something does go wrong (rarely does) it no big deal.

I like the compliements that I get from everyone just driving the thing on the trailer. I also like the gas mileage I get versus some of my friends smaller less powerful boats.

We just ordered our second 22i.
It's ride, handling, fun to drive and excellent seating has really sold us.

Our sales guy Danny at Tige' in Corona makes the whole adventure fun.
Knowlegeable, helpfull in ever angle of the boat and wakeboarding.

People come up and ask us about our Tige' and we always give positive takes, and recomend them to Dan Brubaker in Corona, and he'll put them in something they'll both afford and love.
The whole staff there is good by the way.

We give Malibu, Supra, Natique owners runs in our 22i and they are breathless and astounded how nice the boat is.
Roomy, peppy performance, sick handling that is a reason alone to buy a 22i,, they wish they bought a Tige' rather than a re-graphic'd 25 year old design ski boat.

We ask some why they bought another line other than Tige'?
" we heard bad warranty service from Tige" is their reply.

I've made my peace over that issue, and we hope it's resolved.
Now if I can just make peace with Matt....

Some of the things I love about our Tigé:

We made our decision to buy Tigé based on how well the rental fleet of Tigés stood up at Bass Lake. We talked with the owners of the concession, and they had nothing bad to say about the boats. And you know they had to be tough to hold up to all the pounding they take from both good and bad drivers.

I can't count the number of times I've had people come up and say how much they like the boat, or how awesome it looks, or some other positive comment. I had a guy stop in a gas station when I was filling up before heading to the lake, and he said all he wanted to do was say hello to a fellow Tigé owner, and that my boat was "bitchin'!"

Having a boat gives us opportunities to do something as a family, rather than sitting home doing nothing together. The kids love the water, and even though they don't wakeboard (yet), they love tubing, or just practicing cannonballs off the swim platform in some quiet cove. Seeing the joy on their faces was worth way more than the purchase price of a boat.

And the thing I like most is the sound the engine makes after the warning buzzers go off and it turns over and starts that deep, throaty rumble that says "WOT here I come!"

What's not to love? After 8 years, it's still an awesome boat. It's reliable, big, has lots of storage, great all around wake, sturdy....

And, after 8 years, only the RZ4's gotten me to think about a new boat. 'nuf said.
