True story. My first computer was a commodore 64. I fired that sucker up, and the first thing I typed in...."go to bank" nothing
then "call Bank" Nothing
then "access Bank Accounts"

I was so trying to hack into the bank! BTW, El Commodore was not hooked to a modem either.

and I still suck at command line stuff!

I was like 8 or 9 or something. Here's my rationale...since I had to explain it to my dad right after he caught me. (he was worried that it might work btw...we were a computer illiterate family)

At least they had the internet.... The internet was barely around when I grew up and the only people that were able to access it was the Department of Defense.

In high school, we had an old PDP-80 hooked up to a teletype via an old phone cradle modem, and programs had to be loaded via miles of silly yellow paper tape. Pity the student who tore their tape. We thought we were all hot stuff when we got an IMSAI with a 5.25 floppy drive. Same computer that the kid in War Games used.
